About

Born in Rome, Georgia, Curtis began his musical career at age 12 by touring throughout the South as “Little Curtis Reed and the G.T.’s”. He completed high school and moved to New York City to study music, dance, and songwriting with some of the most influential cabaret and recording personalities in the music industry. After honorably serving his country in the United States Marine Corps, Curtis returned to Atlanta and formed his own band. He quickly landed an extended contract with the United Inn Corporation to perform in their venues across the United States. Curtis also performed in other four and five-star venues across the country, such as: the Doral Country Club and the Diplomat Hotel in Miami; the Sands Hotel in Atlantic City; the Hilton and Hyatt Regency Hotels in Atlanta; and the Historic Hemmingway in Hollywood, Florida.

As a songwriter and performer, Curtis was awarded first place in the 1986 Georgia Music Festival for his original song “DESTINATION LOVE”. His performance of his original single, “EXIT 23”, was released in Europe and achieved significant success. His talent and success as an entertainer opened the door to acting roles in a number of major films, television appearances, and commercials. Curtis appeared in the CBS miniseries, “SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL”; 21st Century Films’ “SILENT VICTIM”; TNN’s “MILLER & CO.”; was a regular performer on NBC affiliate, WSMV’s, “THE RALPH EMERY SHOW”; and appeared in and performed the soundtrack for Zaracon Pictures’, “WEST FROM NORTH GOES SOUTH”.

Curtis is currently entertaining for many Veteran, Patriotic, and Civic Organizations and on tour performing with symphony orchestras.  He has surrounded himself with extremely talented musicians and a stage presentation of supreme class and elegance.  His high-energy performance will grab you from the first note played and won’t let you go until you have been totally blown away by an entertainment experience that covers the entire musical spectrum.
