Curtis has become deeply involved in the Veterans’ Initiative that is developing ways to provide many assistance programs for Veterans for adequate housing and to treat medical, dental, and psychiatric problems. In recognition of all of Reed’s charitable works and kind deeds, he was recently named the “AMBASSADOR OF GOODWILL” for Lebanon and Wilson County, TN, by the respective mayors and January 23rd was officially declared “CURTIS REED DAY”.
In March 2023, Curtis received a Proclamation from the Mayor and County Commissioners of Rome, Georgia, for his work in promoting Economic Development, Veterans’ Initiatives, and charitable works in his community and state through his original music and performances.
